Congratulations to Sarah Long who painted this beautiful bowl as a wedding present! We have chosen it for April’s Pottery of the Month despite having some hot contenders on the shortlist.

As well as being painted with love, it has a nice story behind it. The underside has pictures of the happy couple’s proposal under the blue moon one New Year’s Eve and “Love is in the Earth” written in the centre. Very appropriate for two gardeners!

Lots of fun was had at our Easter workshops the other week. We saw some fantastic egg cups modelled out of clay and lovely boxes to hide your bunny chocolates in!

We will be running more workshops in the summer holidays: 1st Week - 9-13th July, 2nd Week - 16th-20th July, 3rd Week - 6th-10th Aug. More details to follow...

We couldn't decide which one we liked best so we decided to pick two winners this month!

It's only a couple of weeks til the Easter Holidays!!! We will be running childrens' workshops on the following dates:

Monday 2nd – Friday 6th April, 10:30 till 12:00 each day, £50 for the week or £12.50 per day.

Monday – make and paint a clay egg cup.
Tuesday – paint an egg box for your chocs!
Wednesday – paint a mug by blowing bubbles.
Thursday – paint a plant pot with exotic crystal glazes.
Friday – Make and paint your own photo frame!

There is still plenty of time to get painting and give your mum a special present for Mothers Day on Sunday 18th March!

Or you can bring along mums, kids and grannies for a cup of tea and some relaxing pottery painting on the day. We will be open 12-6pm on Sun 18th March. Please book in advance to guarantee a space.

Well February proved to be a very inspiring month with lots of lovely pottery making it onto our shortlist for Pottery of the Month!

In the end, we had to choose the amazing jungle plate painted with crystal glazes by Jane Ambler (age 11!!!)

Jane attended our February Half Term Workshops and made lots of beautiful things so it seems only fair to reward her with a £5 voucher.

We get so many lovely things painted here at Doodles that we decided it was time to share some of them with you and reward the ones we like the best.
